WOW! It’s been 1 hour and 16 minutes since Bonnaroo 2013 tickets went on sale and both Tier 2 and Tier 3 tickets are already SOLD OUT!! I rushed home to make sure I was ready for the 12 EST launch and sat here literally for 45 minutes mashing buttons to refresh the page. There seemed to be multiple issues:
- Initially there was a DNS Server Error that caused the ticket gateway to not load at ALL
- Then, I was placed in a waiting room and told that I would be automatically forwarded to checkout when the line cleared
- Then, I was repeatedly bumped out of the waiting room
- Then, I got through to a ticket selection page and was told there weren’t enough of the ticket I wanted and to chose another type/quantity
- So I sat there madly clicking “1” Tier 2 ticket, “Enter”, “1” Tier 2 ticket, “Enter”, “1” Tier 2 ticket, “Enter” etc etc.
- Nothing worked so I went back to www.bonnaroo.com/tickets and tried again from the start
- Same deal multiple times
- Finally decided, nope, going to cut my losses and go for a higher Tier ticket
- Same deal again with the “No tickets of that type available” message
- Logged on to twitter to check #bonnaroo. TONS of others are having the same problem
- Go back to the tickets page and repeatedly mash face on keyboard
- Finally succeed in getting a ticket
- Go to check out and of course credit card is declined
- Use another card
- Deep sigh of relief
YES YES YES I’M GOING TO BONNAROO 2013!
