A crunchy, creamy, delicious dip. You’ll want to eat an entire bowlful- be warned!
1 can of water chestnuts, chopped finely
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4-1/2 cup mayonnaise (you can also substitute greek yogurt or blended avocado)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
black pepper to taste
dash of smoked paprika
dash of salt
1-3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup sliced scallions
1 tablespoon sriracha, if desired
- In a bowl, whisk sour cream and mayo together until smooth.
- Add in seasonings, garlic, scallions and sriracha.
- Finally, add the water chestnuts and stir to combine. Adjust the amount of sour cream/mayo to reach the consistency you desire.
- Serve with sturdy chips or toasted pita bread.
Keep refrigerated (if you manage not to eat it all in one sitting).
