This game was inspired by a loyal Ventchat listener named Giggidee. By the time he made it to France he was so belligerently drunk that he tried to tackle a guy wearing a chipmunk costume (or some craziness like that). So how does it work?
Well first you have to get to Epcot. But assuming you’ve passed that hurdle, typically you begin in Mexico and work your way around the park, stopping for a drink in each of the 11 countries. Sometimes this means enjoying a meal at a sit down restaurant while nursing a beverage; other times you’ll be hitting up carts and beer trucks. Apparently most of the places now serve at least a few booze options so you won’t be stuck drinking the same thing as the rest of your sorry crew (read: don’t attempt this challenge alone). Add the 90° F temperatures and screaming kids to the mix and you’ve got yourself one hell of an afternoon. Here’s a few suggestions from someone who’s been there, done that and lived to tell about it:
- Mexico: Dos Equis or margarita
- Norway: (goat-made) vodka drink or glacier shot
- China: Tsing Tao beer
- Germany: beer or rhine wine
- Italy: wine
- United States: beer (something light and shitty, like Busch Light)
- Japan: sake or plumb wine
- Morocco: Casablanca Sunset or some mixed drink because why not?
- France: wine (duh) or beer
- United Kingdom: Scotch, Cognac, or Port
- Canada: ale or iceburg vodka drink
Let the drunkenness ensue.
